I had tried the 2003 Bennett Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon in Scottsdale,AZ at the Roaring Fork. Great food and we really enjoyed the wine. I ran into again in our local Bevmo and gave it another shot. I was surprised to see how inexpensive it was for a Napa Cab. $ 25 bucks is a steal.
Wine Impression Notes: Nose of black cherry cola, with notes of pencil shavings and a big cocoa finish. The taste: Bright cherry candied fruit, reminded me a bit of jolly rancher red, and the chewy tannins gave it a nice mouth feel. A great Cab for the price.
